Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep interest in understanding people, their stories, and the ways we heal through connection and support. I have always been drawn to helping others navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change in their lives.
What inspired me most was witnessing the strength and resilience people demonstrate, even during difficult times. I realized that having a compassionate, nonjudgmental person to talk to can make a significant difference, and I wanted to be able to offer that space to others.
As I pursued my education and training, I discovered a passion for helping individuals better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and build more fulfilling relationships. The opportunity to walk alongside people during important moments in their lives continues to be both a privilege and a source of purpose for me.
Being a therapist is more than a profession for me—it's a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment where people can feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow and heal in ways that are meaningful to them.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I want you to know that therapy with me is a collaborative process. I believe that healing and growth happen when you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. My role is not to tell you who to be or what decisions to make, but to support you as we explore what matters most to you and work toward the changes you want in your life.
I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can bring your whole self—your struggles, strengths, questions, and hopes. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and I will tailor our work to fit your unique experiences, values, and goals.
I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. I welcome honest conversations and encourage feedback so that our work together remains meaningful and helpful. Whether you are navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and practical support.

Professional Background
LicensureNew York, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, 017011
Work HistoryOver the years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem struggles. These experiences have helped shape my approach to therapy and deepened my understanding of the unique needs each person brings into the counseling space.
My work has included supporting clients through difficult life events, helping them build healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with their values and goals. I believe that healing happens within a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly heard and understood.
I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each individual's experiences, culture, and strengths. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I work collaboratively with clients to create meaningful and lasting change at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering for them.
Whether someone is seeking support during a challenging season of life or working toward deeper personal growth, my goal is to help them feel supported, build resilience, and move toward the life they want to create.
