In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My husband is a retired US Marine, so my experience with his trauma and chronic pain has definitely motivated me to work with vets and first responders experiencing dificulties. I also identify with teens transitioning to adulthood and young adults with ADHD.

Work HistoryOver 20 years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health in a community agency, inpatient therapy, and intensive outpatient treatment for addictions.
I attended Texas A&M University & have been a licensed therapist since 2001. I am licensed to practice in Texas, Florida & New Mexico. I enjoy helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, first responder/veterans' issues, women's issues, & stressful life transitions. On a more personal note, I've been married for almost 30 years to my husband, a retired U.S. Marine, & have one daughter in college. I enjoy genealogy, gardening, music & spending time with my family & fur babies.
