Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I like to think I'm approachable, welcoming, and easy to talk to. I like be present and grounded, I think this helps people feel comfortable enough to be honest with me, sometimes about things they've never said out loud before.
I'm also an avid reader and lifelong learner, which shows up directly in my work: I'm continually refining my technique and staying current on evidence-based therapies, because I want what I offer clients to be grounded, not just intuitive.
That same curiosity shapes how I see people. I don't view someone in isolation — I view them in relation to their environment, their history, and their family experiences. My own background in healthcare operations, alongside my clinical training, gives me a practical, systems-minded lens too: I tend to notice not just what someone is feeling, but the structures and patterns around them that are reinforcing it.
Ultimately, I think my personality makes therapy feel less like a clinical exercise and more like a real conversation — one where growth and honesty can coexist with warmth.
