Youngstown State University, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2019 — Chi Sigma Iota Honors Society and graduated with a 3.9 GPA from YSU with my Master's in Clinical Counseling. I spent my internship and practicum working with a lot of children and teenagers at a mental health center in Youngstown, Ohio.
University of Toledo, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, 2015
Work HistoryI spent my internship and practicum working with children and teens with a variety of mental health disorders at a mental health facility in Youngstown, Ohio. Then COVID hit and we all went online. This opened my eyes to the possibilities of telehealth and the wide range of people that we can reach across the state. I was able to work from home, be closer to my daughter, and have more flexibility to help my clients and myself. I worked from home for a few months and then found a job that was completely remote. I worked for this company for 2 years and broadened my horizons to working with young adults and adults. I started to focus on what areas I wanted to specialize in and worked with a variety of different clients and diagnoses. Once I became independently licensed at the beginning of 2023 I decided to make the leap to open up my own company!! I started this practice with my best friend since we both shared a passion for helping people, mental health, and provided affordable healthcare to more people in Ohio. I still work from home and have the privilege of being with my daughter and also helping people on their journey home!!
