In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?

My personal experiences have allowed me to interact with individuals of all walks of life, race, culture, social-economic, gender, and non-gender conforming backgrounds. This has provided me with a wealth of cultural humility that I incorporate in all aspects of my work.

What does a first session with you look like?

Information gathering, rapport building, and developing the therapeutic alliance. It requires humility and patience to learn from your client before giving out advice.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

Strength Based and Client Centered. The client is there to tell me what they need, and I assist them in utilizing their skills to obtain the desired outcome.
