What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My mom was seeking a therapist but could not find one who spoke Spanish so I decided that since I wanted to help people, I could start by helping those who speak Spanish and come from a Latinx culture.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I am completely judgment free. I try to accept everyone's background and meet everyone with unconditional positive regard.
What does a first session with you look like?
The first session is a free consultation that lasts about 15 minutes where you tell me about yourself and I tell you about myself. Then we decide if we would be a good match. There is no pressure and you can take time to consider all the information provided for you, including fees, so you can see if you'd like to continue your mental health journey with me.
