Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can show up as yourself—not as the version of you that has everything together. I’m warm, curious, and collaborative, and I believe you should feel like an active participant in your own therapy rather than someone being told what you “should” do.
I also tend to be practical. I value having a deeper understanding of where your patterns come from, but I don’t want therapy to stop at insight. I want us to connect that understanding to what is actually happening in your day-to-day life and find ways to make meaningful changes.
You can expect me to meet you where you are, challenge you when it may be helpful, and create space for both the difficult and lighter moments. Therapy doesn’t have to feel like another place where you have to perform or get everything right.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My goal is for you to leave therapy with a better understanding of yourself and a greater sense of confidence in how you navigate your life. Together, we may work on recognizing patterns that keep you stuck, managing anxiety and stress, setting boundaries, improving relationships, or figuring out who you are outside of your achievements and expectations.
I also want therapy to feel useful beyond the session. Depending on what you’re working through, you may leave with a new perspective, a practical strategy to try, a clearer understanding of what you need, or simply the feeling that something that once felt overwhelming is a little more manageable.
Ultimately, I hope you develop the tools and self-awareness to make choices that feel more intentional and aligned with the life you actually want—not just the life you think you’re supposed to want.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My experience as a former Division I athlete has had a meaningful influence on how I understand my clients. Being part of a high-performance environment taught me the value of discipline, resilience, and pushing yourself toward a goal. It also showed me how easy it can be to tie your identity and self-worth to what you accomplish.
That perspective has stayed with me as I work with clients who are navigating demanding careers, major transitions, anxiety, burnout, or uncertainty about who they are outside of their achievements. I understand that sometimes the qualities that helped you succeed—high standards, determination, responsibility, and the ability to keep going—can also make it difficult to recognize when you need rest, support, or a different approach.
My personal experiences don’t define my clients’ experiences, but they have made me especially curious about the person behind the performance. I bring that curiosity into therapy and aim to create a space where clients can explore not only what they want to accomplish, but also how they want to feel while living their lives.

Work HistoryMy experience has centered around helping people navigate periods of stress, transition, and uncertainty—especially when the pressure to keep performing can make it difficult to slow down and figure out what you actually need.
Through my work in hospital and community mental health settings, I’ve supported people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. These experiences have taught me how differently people can respond to stress and how important it is to create a space where you can be honest about what is happening without feeling judged or having to “hold it all together.”
I’m particularly drawn to working with young adults and high-achieving professionals who may look successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, burned out, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. I also enjoy working with former athletes and people whose identity has been closely tied to achievement, performance, or being the person others can rely on. My own background as a collegiate athlete has given me a personal appreciation for the mindset of constantly pushing yourself, meeting expectations, and measuring your worth through performance—and how challenging it can be to figure out who you are when those things change.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and trauma-informed. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can better understand yourself while also developing tools that actually fit into your everyday life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, burnout, relationships, identity, or a major transition, we can work together to understand what is underneath the problem and create a path forward that feels sustainable—not just successful on paper.
