Work HistoryWe're all affected by our experiences and environments in one way or another, some of which have long-lasting impacts on our well-being. Confronting personal challenges takes courage and vulnerability, so it's important you feel comfortable with and trust your therapist. My goal is to help you process your experiences so you can recognize and overcome the obstacles standing in the way of you living a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. Together, we'll empower you to proactively tackle your challenges by developing self-awareness and coping techniques. I specialize in helping individuals and couples work through substance abuse and addiction, anxiety and stress, depression, and challenges associated with parenting, interpersonal and romantic relationships. Over the last decade, I've helped my clients navigate through some of their darkest moments involving recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, childhood trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, divorce, and self-limiting beliefs in a variety of settings, including in-patient treatment centers and state-funded group homes. I've conducted private and group therapy sessions, as well as worked with family units. My undergraduate degree in Child Development and Psychology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Master's Degree in Social Welfare from UCLA provided the foundation for my integrative treatment approach.
