Education
Colorado State University, Doctorate of Philosophy — I received my PhD and Master's degrees from Colorado State University. My doctoral dissertation studied the impacts of mindfulness in couple relationships on physical and mental health.
Work HistoryI received my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and PhD from Colorado State University. I have worked in a private practice setting specializing in helping couples break negative cycles of interaction and build greater connection for years, knowing that I was meant for this work since I was young. As a scientist-practitioner (24 research publications), I am devoted to effective, scientifically proven methods that forever change lives and relationships. I have nearly three hundred hours of advanced training and mentorship in the most effective couples therapy methods (Emotion-Focused and Gottman Method). I can't tell you how much I love this work!
