Education
Portland State University, Master of Social Work, Clinical Social Worker Intern in Nevada, 2022
Work HistoryYour child is struggling, and you've tried everything you can think of. Maybe it's anxiety that keeps them up at night, behavior that's escalating at school, or trauma they can't put into words. You need someone who understands how kids work—and I do. I've worked in inpatient psychiatric units, residential care facilities, and outpatient settings. My training at Portland State University gave me the theory, but my hands-on work with children, preteens, and teens taught me what actually helps. I've worked with kids dealing with ADHD, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and trauma. I've helped families navigate behavioral issues that were tearing them apart. I approach this work using attachment theory, developmental stages, and systems thinking which simply means I look at the whole. If your child is struggling and traditional methods haven't worked, let's talk about what might. If you’d like support, you can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976.
