Get To Know Me
What does a first session with you look like?
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I also reserve some time to gather some background information about your life to better understand your perspective and life experiences. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
My greatest strength is helping clients discover the root causes of their presenting concerns and collaboratively develop strategies to address and heal the root causes.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia. I received my Master's degree from Clayton State University and have been practicing for four years. I help adults of all ages struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and processing how past relational traumas impact present-day relationships. My clients are often seeking more meaningful relationships but feel hindered by anxiety, difficulty trusting others, self-sabotage, or feeling like they always "pick the wrong people". I also work with both men and women who often feel stuck, burnt-out, overwhelmed, and anxious about career, school, and relationships. My clients often need additional support and tools to help increase motivation, improve organization and communication, and identify self-sabotaging patterns that may be standing in their way. My goal is to provide compassionate and effective support, empowering you to overcome obstacles and achieve greater relationships with yourself and others.
I personally enjoy bringing a sense of spirit into my work with clients. While not a necessary part of the process, I truly believe our work is most impactful from a mind/body/spirit lens. Do not be surprised if I talk about "energy". All spiritual and religious backgrounds are welcome, as I enjoy learning from clients as much as I enjoy teaching new skills and perspectives.
