What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I want prospective clients to know they are in safe hands when they bring their relationship concerns to me. My niche private practice is exclusively devoted to relationship care, and most clients come to me in pairs! As a result, I am well-versed in helping couples experiencing relationship discord restore their relationship to a place of safety, trust, and connection. An area of expertise is helping couples restore in the aftermath of infidelity. Infidelity is a complex, multi-layered matter that jeopardizes the foundation of a relationship catapulting couples into an immediate crisis. Restoring trust and safety is a slow and painful process -- but possible. Over the years of observing and working with couples, I have developed a unique approach to couple care that gets results! The focus of my approach is on the restoration of emotional and sexual intimacy.

Work History

With a degree in early childhood education and as a certified teacher, I have taught children as young as three up through seniors in high school. As an educator, I helped create and implement a Gifted and Talented Program for middle school and high school students. While teaching, I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. Upon obtaining my license as an associate counselor, I earned my clinical hours working with adults. It was during this time that I discovered a love and gift for counseling couples. After becoming fully licensed, I opened Open Door Therapy in Westfield, New Jersey. Counseling for couples and recovering from affairs was the focus of the practice. During the peak of the pandemic, Open Door Therapy stopped providing services. Open Door Therapy reopened in Princeton, New Jersey offering virtual relationship counseling for all residents of New Jersey. Open Door Therapy has expanded its counseling services to include helping individuals in relationships with narcissists, married or committed persons. Additionally, I contribute to Today, Yahoo! Life, Newsweek, BestLifeOnline, UpJourney, and other media outlets as a relationship expert.
