Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I would say that it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do career wise. In undergraduate school I decided to major in Psychology because I was very intrigued by how the brain operates and how mental health works inside the brain. I then took time to talk to some mental health professionals to see what their jobs entailed. I then realized that I wanted to be in a career that was versatile and allowed me to try different things and be well rounded. I chose Social Work, because I was able to do just that, try different genres and become a more well-rounded therapist because of the knowledge acquired throughout my career.
