Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Therapy with me is collaborative, gentle, and real. I won’t push you to share more than you’re ready for, and I don’t believe in quick fixes or cookie-cutter plans. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, honoring the parts of you that learned to protect and survive.
I bring a calm, grounded presence and a deep respect for your lived experience. My role isn’t to judge or diagnose from a distance. It’s to walk with you as you start to understand how your story, body, and emotions fit together. You can expect sessions that are compassionate but also practical, with space for reflection, creativity, and humor.
Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can finally exhale and unmask.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
When it’s helpful for your care, I collaborate with other professionals like psychiatrists, pediatricians, teachers, and other therapists to make sure we’re all supporting you in the same direction. Many of my clients are navigating complex needs and teamwork often helps things move more smoothly.
I believe collaboration works best when you stay in control of who’s involved and what’s shared. With your consent, I’ll communicate clearly and respectfully with other providers so you don’t have to repeat your story or manage everything on your own. My goal is for every part of your support system to feel connected, consistent, and centered around you.
How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
We start by getting curious together about what brings you in and what “feeling better” might actually look like for you. Some people come in knowing exactly what they want to work on; others just know they don’t want to keep feeling the way they do. Both are completely okay.
In our early sessions, I’ll ask gentle questions to understand what’s been hard, what’s been helping you cope, and what kind of change feels possible right now. From there, we create goals that feel realistic and grounded. Your goals aren’t set in stone. As therapy unfolds, we revisit them together to notice what’s shifting and where you need more support. My role is to guide the process, offer insight, and help you move toward the kind of life that feels safe, connected, and more like you.

Work HistoryI’ve spent my career helping children, teens, and adults who grew up in environments where emotions weren’t always safe or needs weren’t met. Early in my work at a group practice, I supported families navigating ADHD, autism, and trauma, and saw how often people carried invisible wounds from childhood that shaped how they related, learned, and coped.
Over time, I specialized in trauma-informed therapy and assessment, completing advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, and play and creative modalities. I’ve also conducted trauma-informed and neuro-affirming diagnostic evaluations, helping clients understand their brains and experiences through a compassionate, strengths-based lens.
Now in my private practice, I combine these experiences to help clients make sense of their stories, calm their nervous systems, and reconnect with who they are underneath the survival patterns. My work is grounded, collaborative, and always centered on helping you feel safe, seen, and supported as you heal.
