In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?

As a CBT therapist, I bring a wealth of clinical expertise to every session. Life’s challenges can lead us to some dark places, but together, we can navigate through them. My unique background, including service in the Marines and Army, as well as my experience in behavioral health hospitals, community settings, and domestic violence shelters, equips me with a distinct perspective. My travels throughout the United States and to Japan and other parts of the Asia have further enriched my understanding, allowing me to integrate diverse cultural insights into my practice. I blend the wisdom of thought leaders from Seneca to Jay-Z to help guide you towards healing and self-discovery. Let’s embark on this journey together, where your well-being is our priority.

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

Working with clients, I witness a beautiful process of rediscovery. Each client recaptures parts of themselves that were lost to worry, shame, guilt, and the unreasonable expectations. Through therapy, clients reclaim their virtues and character attributes—dignity, confidence, and self-awareness—that may have faded along life’s journey. By the end of our sessions, the person who leaves is transformed. They’ve cultivated self-love, self-care, and a renewed connection with their innermost self.

As a mobile therapist and in private practice, I specialized in family therapy, supporting families through their unique challenges and fostering stronger connections. I've also dedicated myself to individual and couples therapy, helping clients build healthier relationships and improve their emotional well-being. My career has taken me across the globe and throughout the United States, from the bustling East Coast to the serene West Coast, through the heartlands of the Midwest, and into the vibrant South. Each region has enriched my perspective and deepened my understanding of the human experience. In addition to clinical therapy, my diverse career paths have equipped me with a wealth of knowledge and skills. I bring to the table not only my clinical expertise but also the empathy and insight gained from my varied roles and travels.
