In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
Laughing is how I've always connected with others, so I tend to bring a bit of silliness and whimsy to session. I try to be as 'unmasked' as possible, especially when working with neurodiverse folks, because I want to create a space where clients can feel comfortable and safe being their authentic selves. :-)
