Education
California State University, San Marcos, Master of Social Work, Clinical Social Work, 2019 — During my training as a Clinical Social Worker, I provided outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults in school-based mental health and substance use programs. Since obtaining my degree in 2019, I have provided individual, group and family psychotherapy services for adolescents and adults in residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient mental health settings.
University of Massachusetts, Boston, Master of Education, School Psychology, 2006 — I have six years of experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 public education where I conducted psycho-educational assessments and provided supportive services to children and adolescents experiencing academic, behavioral and social/emotional problems.
University of California, Riverside, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, 2003 — I began working in the mental health field during my training in psychology. I obtained experience working in a county mental health day treatment setting for children experiencing mental health struggles and then became employed as a Mental Health Worker in a community-based crisis mental health program for children, adolescents, and adults.
Work HistoryWelcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in California. I have a BA in Psychology, Master of Social Work, and a Master of Education in School Psychology. I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient therapy, residential programs, day treatment and K-12 public education. I am experienced in working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma related to painful past experiences, relationships and life stressors. Using evidence based practices, I will help you to use coping skills to manage distressing thoughts and feelings that assist in reducing their negative impact on your ability to live a purposeful and fulfilling life.
