In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
I have personal experience navigating mental health challenges, neurodivergence, disability, and recovery. This been a major strength in empathizing with and best supporting my clients. However, I firmly believe every individual's journey is unique and deserves individualized support. Your path is yours, and my role is to be a compassionate guide and ally.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I have navigated the challenges of being neurodivergent from a young age. Growing up, I constantly tried to understand and adapt into one-size-fits all educational and mental health care systems. This led me to both therapy and psychiatry. A significant chapter of my life was also shaped by struggles with substance use, a journey that taught me about resilience, redemption, and recovery. I am now nine years into my recovery journey and have a life filled with love and joy. I feel very grateful to have found the right support for me and have dedicated my life to being a resource for others.

Work HistoryI began my career in film production but burned out after eight years. After completing my Master's of Social Work at Tulane University, I worked at a New Orleans non-profit organization focused on addiction recovery. In this position, I identified gaps in service offerings and created and led new programs. I then worked at a mental health tech startup organization with the goal of expanding people's access to quality, affordable mental health care. In this role, I built and co-led an employee group for others with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and mental health conditions. While I enjoyed this work very much, I realized that one-on-one therapy is where I shine and am meant to be. I opened my private practice in 2020.
