Work HistoryI began my career working at an award-winning trauma clinic, where I learned about trauma and the ways that people are affected by various traumatic events. It was during this time that I instantly knew I was passionate about this field and specialty, as everyone is affected by a traumatic event at some point in their life. It is such an honor to walk alongside individuals learning to recover from challenging life events and thrive beyond such happenings. I also worked at a community setting helping families, parents, and mothers by providing relationship-based therapy that is attachment-focused. I enjoyed understanding how attachment works, beginning at birth and beyond. Attachment is at the center of our well-being and all our relationships. How we relate to the world and those around us is significantly shaped by our early childhood experiences. With this learning and my trauma background, I began to piece together a comprehensive understanding and approach to the treatment and healing of trauma.
