Dr. Baptiste’s passion for serving underrepresented populations, particularly people of color and immigrant communities, was born from her earliest childhood experiences in Montreal, Canada; bred within the bicultural, biracial, and bilingual context of her family of origin; and later, continuously reinforced through living in a uniquely diverse and culturally vibrant neighborhood in otherwise homogenous Vermont.
