Work HistoryWhen you're dealing with bipolar disorder, severe anxiety, or suicidal thoughts, you don't need someone who tiptoes around the reality of what you're facing. You need someone who can sit with you in the hard stuff without flinching and help you build skills to manage it.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who graduated from UNLV in 2019 with my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work primarily with adults dealing with mood disorders, OCD, trauma, relationship issues, and the kind of depression that makes getting out of bed feel impossible. I also work with people navigating divorce, anger that's damaging their relationships, and stress that's become unmanageable.
I use CBT to challenge the thought patterns keeping you stuck, DBT to help you regulate emotions that feel overwhelming, and CPT when trauma is still dictating how you see yourself and the world. I also draw on existential therapy when clients are struggling with questions about meaning and purpose, sometimes what looks like depression is actually a crisis about what you're living for.
