Get To Know Me
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
If there’s one thing I wish people knew about therapy, it’s that it’s not about being “broken” or needing to be “fixed.” As a therapist, I see it as a space for growth, understanding, and healing—not judgment. Therapy gives you the chance to slow down, explore your story, and find meaning in the things that have felt heavy or confusing. You don’t have to have the perfect words or a clear goal to begin. My job is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you learn more about yourself, gain new tools, and begin to see that change—real, lasting change—is possible.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist started with a deep curiosity about people—their stories, their resilience, and what helps them heal. I’ve always been drawn to understanding why we think, feel, and act the way we do, and how connection can change everything. Over time, I realized that therapy allows me to combine empathy with purpose—to help others make sense of their experiences and rediscover their strengths.
I chose this profession because I believe in the power of being truly seen and heard. I’ve witnessed how even small moments of insight or compassion can shift someone’s entire perspective. Walking alongside people as they grow, heal, and begin to see themselves differently is something I never take for granted—it’s what continues to inspire me every day.

Work HistoryOver the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, teens, and families facing a wide range of challenges—anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, trauma, and life transitions, to name a few. My background includes working in both community and private practice settings, which has allowed me to support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Each role has deepened my understanding of how personal history, relationships, and self-perception shape our mental health. I’ve specialized in helping clients build self-worth, strengthen coping skills, and find clarity during difficult seasons. These experiences continue to guide how I show up in the therapy room—with compassion, curiosity, and the belief that growth is always possible.
