In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I am a person who likes to be comfortable with my provider, regardless of the reason. Maintaining a professional boundary is very important but making the client feel comfortable is key to the therapeutic relationship. If there is no rapport between the therapist and client, I find that it usually does not work well. I am a person who likes to meet the person where they are at so they are able to get the most from their treatment.
