In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I'm naturally direct, so I tend to name what I'm noticing in session rather than letting things go unspoken. I think that honesty, paired with genuine warmth, is what actually helps people change. I'm also curious by nature. I like understanding the "why" behind a pattern, not just the pattern itself, which shows up in how I work with couples untangling conflict or individuals trying to make sense of behavior that feels out of their control. I don't believe in judgment as a tool for growth, so even when I'm being direct, my goal is always to help you feel more understood, not more exposed.

Work HistoryI've spent the last five years working in a sex therapy practice, where I developed a strong foundation in sex-positive, shame-free care. Much of my work there focused on couples and individuals dealing with out-of-control sexual behavior and infidelity, helping people understand what's driving these patterns and rebuild trust, whether with a partner or within themselves.
Alongside that, I've worked extensively with people in helping professions, therapists, healthcare workers, and others whose jobs involve caring for others, who often struggle to apply that same care to themselves or their own relationships.
I'm certified in Gottman Method Level 1, which gives me concrete, research-backed tools for working with couples on communication, conflict, and connection. Across all of this, my approach stays the same: direct, non-judgmental, and focused on real, practical change rather than just talk.
