I hope you feel a sense of relief from the very first session and moving forward. We all want to be heard and I’m here to do just that, listen, validate, and support you from day one. I like to work with clients to develop goals for therapy and homework in between sessions. The keyword is “with” as I do not lead you in session, it’s your session, I’m here to meet you where you are and help decide how to move forward!
I primarily use techniques and methods from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) including unraveling cognitive distortions, cognitive reframing and/or restructuring, journaling, mindfulness, and relaxation and stress reduction strategies.
