Amara Onuorah is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 6 years of mental health experience. Her background includes child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Amara's clinical career took her on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings, managing the care of children with autism to older adults with chronic depression. Her expertise lies in psychopharmacology and crisis management. As a Nigerian immigrant, Amara is passionate about serving the community and improving healthcare access for all individuals. She is a strong advocate for empowering nurses, and she fiercely believes that nurses should play a pivotal role in shaping modern health care.
