I work with adults who struggle with (C)PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, impulsive behavior, and interpersonal conflict. I focus on attachment-based, mindful-based, person-centered, and acceptance- and compassion-based strategies to focus on what is meaningful in your life and help move you close to what brings happiness and purpose. I use a variety of therapy techniques, some of which are EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, and others. Where appropriate, I combine traditional talk therapy with somatic work. Somatic therapy utilizes the body-oriented approach designed to release the areas of stress, tension, and trauma stored in the body. Combined with talk therapy, it provides the most integrative treatment experience and the best chance of healing past emotional wounds.
