What does a first session with you look like?
Our sessions are a journey of self-discovery. Your experience is uniquely your own. You will leave each session knowing that you are not alone. I will walk with you as we navigate whatever challenges are presented without judgment or bias. I will allow you the time and space you need and deserve to figure things out.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I take a person-centered and strength-based approach to therapy. I meet all my clients where they are and don't force them to be where I think they should. I am very eclectic but lean toward cognitive behavioral therapy and what is traditionally known as non-directive therapy. Non-directive does not mean "without direction." I will sometimes walk behind you, ahead of you, and most definitely walk beside you.
