Trust is a key component of the therapeutic relationship. However, individuals may have trouble extending trust to those closest to them, let alone a complete stranger. I work with my clients to build, repair, strengthen, and/or recover that sense of trust. In doing so, the therapeutic relationship is strengthened, which allows for in-depth processing and conversations, which can lead to deeper healing of attachment ruptures.

I see our therapeutic partnership as a journey—where you’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to guide and support you. My approach is integrative, combining Brainspotting, SFBT, CBT, DBT, and multicultural perspectives. We’ll tailor this approach to fit your unique needs, helping you navigate your path, and find new directions when needed. My goal is to empower you to tap into your inner strength and resilience, giving you the tools to reclaim control over your life.

While I welcome clients from all walks of life, I have extensive training working with people of color, men, women, the LGBTQ community, and those seeking representation and understanding in mental health spaces. I have over six years of experience working in the human services field as a counselor and health educator. Throughout my career, I have worked in the non-profit and hospital sectors, initially servicing the gender and sexuality-expansive communities, and then I transitioned to addiction counseling. I have found that working with these populations and the intersectional identities that each client holds has given me an acute sense of how to approach treatment, which is holistically and with nuanced care.
