What does a first session with you look like?
At our first session we will spend time getting to know each other and review what you want out of therapy. We will look together at the various ways you can start your healing journey and focus on those that most appeal to you. And if after the initial meeting you don't feel that I'm a good fit for you as a therapist, I will be happy to refer you to others that may be a better match.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use various methods depending on your needs and preferences, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), dream work, journaling, art and movement, body awareness, mindfulness, and traditional talk therapy grounded in CBT principles.
