I believe my clients feel very safe and comfortable with me as I identify with many of their life experiences and have much compassion for their challenges. I value my clients highly and respect their views. I feel very honored that clients trust and share their stories with me. I am very down-to-earth and often use humor in my sessions. I constantly seek to learn new ways of helping others with their struggles and I put my heart and soul into my work! I believe everyone can benefit from therapy and that everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and valued.

I have worked in the field of Mental Health Counseling for several years as well as in hospitals and crisis centers where I evaluated clients for risk to self and others and referred them to treatment. I have also worked in the Drug Courts and have training in substance abuse.
