What is your style/approach to therapy?
My treatment methods are a combination of person centered combined with cognitive behavior therapy based on your individual needs. Therapy would be non-directive and unconditional positive regard to create a safe place to establish goals and reach your desired goals.
What does a first session with you look like?
The first meeting would be called the intake session and consists of going through your history, assessments completed before the session and learning more about your background. In this meeting we will establish some goals for therapy together. Then on subsequent sessions, we will build a relationship with each other and begin working on the goals that have been established for your therapy. Treatment would be a collaboration between each other and provide you with a safe place to discuss and work on your issues for therapy.
