She incorporates both alternative and pharmaceutical regimens in treatment of clients. She utilizes Genomind testing in patients who have a hard time finding the right medications. She believes the client has the final say on medication selection so long as it is deemed safe and appropriate for their condition.

As a psychiatric mental health provider, Halima conducts psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management with a special attention to the individual’s needs. Patient should expect new psychiatric evaluations to last an hour to ninety minutes long depending on the patients’ needs and other special areas of consideration. She believes in taking the time to listen to her clients, so they do not feel rushed or unheard. She believes that knowledge is powerful and uses sessions to empower clients with valuable information to help them make informed decisions regarding their mental health needs. She employs evidenced-based practice in the delivery of thorough cultural, religious, gender, and racial sensitive care. She also employs a holistic approach to care that is empathetic.
