Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality has been described as peaceful, calm and positive. These traits, in addition to being a great listener and inquisitive, allow clients to feel heard, understood and respected. This helps the therapeutic process since clients are able to make connections, do not feel judged and are challenged just enough to make any adjustments so they can fully live a fulfilling life.
What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
A key component to the therapeutic relationship is the match between the Therapist and client. When there is a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative and understanding connection with the Therapist, there are no limits to what the client can achieve in just a few sessions.
Are there any recurring themes or issues you’ve noticed as you treat people in your area of specialization, and how has this insight guided your approach?
I have noticed trauma, especially childhood trauma, is a recurring theme with many of the clients I serve. This trauma leads to attachment issues, which in turn impacts relationship dynamics in adulthood. This has guided me to a holistic approach in my practice that allows me and clients to explore and process the connections between the past and present, as well as help in the healing process toward a healthier life.

Work HistoryMany individuals are facing harsh realities of feeling empty inside, struggling with maintaining healthy relationships as well as feeling burnout from work. While covid can explain much of the perceived unwanted change happening, for many it has led to self-reflection and understanding one’s traumas and dormant issues that may now be impacting relationships and interactions with others. Collaboratively, we can unpack trauma, attachment types and communication styles that influence your relationships and overall mental wellbeing. Once you invest in your mental health, you will be able to live the life you choose in all domains.
My focus areas are couples dealing with trauma and attachment issues. Also, women, medical professionals and those in the transportation industry who are facing trauma and/or burnout. Trauma can be addressed either individually or in a group setting. Let’s close doors of despair and angst, while opening doors of freedom and abundance.
If you are searching for an understanding mental health professional who can challenge and guide you on a journey of transformation and clarity, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email. You can also visit my website at www.budandblossomtherapeutics.com.
