Get To Know Me
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is structured, thoughtful, and collaborative. I guide patients through a two-step process: first, slowing down to notice and understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships; second, experimenting with small, practical changes while managing the emotions that arise. I tailor sessions to the needs of the individual or couple, whether that means deep reflection, problem-solving, or learning strategies to cope with stress. Therapy is a space to explore yourself, gain insight, and begin creating lasting change in how you relate to yourself and others.
How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
Goals are developed collaboratively, based on what feels most meaningful to each patient. Some come with a clear goal, while others are unsure where to start. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and clarify what changes would feel supportive and realistic in your day-to-day life. Goals often include improving relationships, managing anxiety or stress, processing past experiences, and strengthening confidence in yourself and your decisions. I regularly check in to ensure therapy remains aligned with your priorities.
What does success look like in therapy? How will a client know that they are making progress?
Progress looks different for each patient but often shows up as noticing patterns before they escalate, responding to conflict or stress more intentionally, and feeling more confident in yourself and your relationships. Success includes small but meaningful shifts, being able to pause instead of reacting, communicating more clearly, or handling challenges without feeling overwhelmed. These moments add up over time, reflecting the deeper work of self-discovery and relational growth that therapy supports.
