What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Long story short, I was your typical cartoon of a boy with attention hyperactivity issues, and ended up seeing a therapist myself to address impulsivity/behavior issues in school. I have seen people some well intended and others not, make more problems than solutions. I have also benefited from many positive examples in my life, so that I can stand where I am today. When my family pressured me to get an engineering degree for a good job, I held firm and continued with my graduate studies in clinical psychology. I always thought the inner world was more interesting that the external, and I thoroughly enjoy helping others with my knowledge and passion for psychology.
