Work HistoryI started my career at UTMB-Correctional Managed Care in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where I gained deep insight into supporting those facing severe psychosis spectrum disorders, mood disorders, and cluster B personality disorders (histrionic, narcissistic, antisocial, and borderline). In 2017, I transitioned to private practice to emphasize compassionate, preventive care. I’m trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT).
