Get To Know Me
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
In my life, I have worked on personal growth which has meant addressing traumas, losses and many life challenges. The techniques that I use with clients are all ones that i myself have found benefit from in my own healing process.
What’s the most profound, insightful, or interesting thing you’ve learned as a mental health professional?
In working with people experiencing emotional pain, I have seen how truly resilient the human spirit is. With compassion and patience, I have seen people heal from many kinds of trauma and loses and be able to reengage with life in a more meaningful and fulfilling way.
What excites you most about the evolving mental health landscape?
What I find exciting in the progression of mental health treatment is the growing understanding of the brain. I find that clients are relieved to learn that their emotional challenges have physical correlates.
