What is your style/approach to therapy?
I believe in meeting clients where they are and walking through their journey with them. I am passionate about the work I do and work hard to help clients gain insight and become empowered to make positive changes in their life. I believe people are doing the best they can with where they are at and sometimes need a little help getting unstuck or out of a rut. I utilize strength based, solution focused techniques to help clients make the changes they desire with the most efficient use of time. I also utilize trauma informed care methods as well as cognitive behavioral techniques.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I believe in taking a warm, individualized and empathic approach to therapy. I believe in being transparent with clients regarding their treatment process. I also believe that a combination of knowledge and relatable personal factors create a positive therapeutic experience for clients.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
A team approach to treatment can provide benefit and positive therapeutic outcomes for clients. Working together with other professionals can help clients to benefit from the knowledge and experiences of multiple providers working together on achieving goals of the client.
