What does a first session with you look like?

During our first session I will ask questions to get a background of what brings you into seeking therapy and how I can best assist you. It's important to know some of your past and to know what is going on presently to be able to see the whole picture. I will let you know that we will work together to address your needs. I will also allow you to address any questions or concerns you may have.

If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?

You can see a therapist for any concerns or problems. You can also seek therapy to help you grow as a person and work on self growth. It can be wonderful to be able to speak with someone who is there to support you and you can share anything with. It can be quite rewarding. It's important to know that the therapist is here to help you and can offer guidance, support, and education.
