What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to counseling is to guide and help you determine the best approach for improving your well-being. I tend to use person-centered, solution-focused, along with cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches; however, I can modify my therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of each client.
What does a first session with you look like?
I utilize blended holistic approaches that stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. Other modalities of specialty that I utilize are psycho-educational interventions, hypnotherapy, interpersonal therapy, and art therapy. PCWC also offers relaxation techniques (e.g. meditation, breathing exercises, and reiki).
