Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. We can start with what feels hardest right now. I will listen without judgment, ask questions to help us understand what is happening, and work with you to identify changes that feel realistic for your life.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I do not follow one script. Some sessions focus on understanding what is happening and why certain patterns keep repeating. Others are more practical and focus on what could be different this week. We regularly check whether the work is helping and adjust when needed. You should leave most sessions with something to think about and something to try.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I am warm, direct, and genuinely curious about people. I listen carefully, but I will also ask thoughtful questions and gently point out patterns you may not have noticed. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation where you can be honest, feel understood, and know that we are working toward something that matters to you.

Work HistoryI began my counseling work in 2016 at a domestic violence shelter, supporting people as they worked through trauma, major life transitions, and the process of rebuilding their lives. Since then, I have worked with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, burnout, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, and the effects of controlling or abusive relationships.
I have also worked as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings. That experience taught me to pay close attention to how emotional challenges affect routines, relationships, responsibilities, and everyday life. In counseling, I help clients understand the emotional patterns that are making life harder and work toward realistic changes they can practice between sessions.
