Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I came to this work very naturally. As early as middle school I was drawn to the field of Psychology and I haven't looked back since. To me, there is something so magnificent about how the unseen inner world plays out externally and determines everything. I love paying special attention to that.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I am very compassionate based and like to use modalities that are experiential so that every session you feel accepted and understood as well as challenged and leave feeling encouraged.

Education
Boston College, Master of Social Work, Adult Mental Health, 2017 — My concentration was in Adult Mental Health. I had internships in schools with children and an outpatient program focused on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Work HistoryMy post graduate work began in an outpatient community mental health setting providing individual therapy where I accrued over 3,000 direct patient hours. I have been in full time private practice for over 5 years. Post graduate training has also included Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Levels 1 and 2, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1. Both have deeply informed my practice. My private practice is now focused on helping clients process past trauma that is impacting them today, developing more sophisticated emotion regulation, and supporting nervous system regulation as well. I see therapy as a space and time for reflection, personal development, and evolution.
