What does a first session with you look like?
The first session will help establish rapport and identify the barriers that are holding your child back from living the life they aspire to live. Parents: this is an amazing opportunity to establish trust by diving into your concerns. As sessions progress, your child will begin to feel happier, and more confident and will gain clarity. They will be healing while establishing coping skills to navigate life's challenges.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I help clients heal holistically. I incorporate spirituality when appropriate. I also help clients integrate exercise, nutrition, and sleep hygiene into their lives as healthy coping skills. I focus on helping clients adapt their mindset and use a variety of therapeutic methods such as cognitive therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
