What does a first session with you look like?

Our first meeting will focus on getting to know the area(s) you find challenging, clarifying the therapy process and exploring related history. We will also cover the basics of the counseling process.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I have used a variety of treatment methods depending on the needs of my clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, motivational interviewing and mindful awareness techniques. I also align with the ideas from acceptance and commitment therapy, existentialism and spirituality.
