What does a first session with you look like?

Therapy is a process and it gives you the opportunity to discuss issues that can be painful or difficult to discuss with family and/or friends. Through this process, you can begin to feel at ease with yourself and your current situation and begin the process of change. I would like you to understand my role as your therapist is to help you focus on strengths, what you can achieve and emphasizes positive thinking patterns, rather than deficits. Hopefully, while we work together to address your concerns we are able to reduce the stressful symptoms that brought you to therapy.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified - Dialectical Behavior Therapist and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider. My interventions tend to be client specific, though I find great use in establishing clear and concise goals and objective task to ensure we are moving ion the right direction.
