What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am committed to incorporating evidence-based practices to ensure that you have the tools you need to carve out a meaningful and manageable path as you move through life. I have training and experience in narrative therapy, trauma-focused and standard cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory. I also have a strong interest in attachment theory and enjoy working within this framework when appropriate.
What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect to leave each session with something specific to work on or reflect on. I also hope you will leave with more self-compassion, self-understanding, and clarity.
