What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Yalanda Holmes is a very empathetic and compassionate nurse practitioner. She has excellent communication skills and is very professional. Also, she enjoys advocating for patients and is adept at considering potential barriers to treatment and comorbid health concerns. Yalanda has passionately provided over 21 years of nursing care in many different specialties. Her professional background includes providing nursing care to dedicated veterans at the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, FL. She has worked as a Public Health Nurse for the Florida Department of Health and the Polk County Public Schools. Also, she has many years of experience in care coordination and home health care.
