Education
Fordham University, Master of Social Work, Clinical Social Work, 2020 — Throughout my program, I focused on clinical practice, training to provide evidence-based therapy, mental health support, and advocacy for individuals, families, and communities. My work is centered on building strong therapeutic relationships and promoting resilience and healing.
Golden Gate University School of Law, law, 2015 — While in law school, my primary focus was primarily on public interest and family law with a particular emphasis on underrepresented and marginalized individuals and groups. Afterward, I practiced both criminal defense and employment law.
Virginia Tech, Bachelor of Science, Psychology/Human Development, 2012 — I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development, where I gained a strong foundation in understanding behavior, mental health, and the social factors that shape growth across the lifespan.
Work HistoryMy background has given me the chance to support people in many different settings — from hospitals and medical centers to community programs and private practice. Working in pediatric and adult hospital units taught me how to provide calm, focused care in times of crisis. My time in outpatient counseling centers helped me build strong skills in evidence-based therapies and in tailoring treatment to each person’s needs. Running my own practice has given me the flexibility to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard and supported. Together, these experiences allow me to meet people where they are, understand the unique challenges they face, and help them find practical, compassionate ways forward.
