Union University, Doctorate of Psychology, Educational Leadership, 2006 — I published a doctoral dissertation about the impact of language arts and mathematics tutoring on students' standardized test scores in elementary and middle schools across Memphis, TN.
The University of Memphis, Master of Science, Counseling and Personnel Services, 2002 — My degree was in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in School Counseling.
Vanderbilt University, Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, 1999 — I majored in Sociology, with double minors in Political Science and African-American Studies.
Work HistoryI started my career as a Professional School Counselor at the elementary, middle and high school levels. In 2018, I became independently licensed and began contracting therapy services with virtual schools and other online platforms. Also in 2018, I launched my private practice, The Academic Achievement and Character Education Counseling Agency for children, youth/teens, and young adults. In 2021, the A.A.C.E. Counseling Agency officially became a non-profit entity. Presently, I am a Military and Family Life Counselor and I specialize in working with military-dependent students and their families.
